Neeraja Krishnan:

Smt. Neeraja Krishnan is a Bharathanatyam dancer and teacher

Training

Smt.K.Neeraja started learning Bharathanatyam at the tender age of 7 under the able guidance of Guru Smt. Uma Gopalakrishnan.

Now she is under the tutelage of Smt. Bragha Bessel and Sri Vijay Madhavan.

To enhance her facial abhinaya, she is undergoing training in Koodiyattam with Dr Rajaneesh Chakyar.

She has attended workshops under Gurus Leela Samson from Chennai, Parshwanath Upadhye from Bangalore and Sujatha Nair from Mumbai.

Achievements:

She was awarded the title ‘BHARATA KALAMANI’ by Prayathnam for completing all the 6 levels of Yathnam exams.

She has participated in numerous competitions and won many laurels which includes the gold medal and the title ‘NAATYA SIRONMANI’ received by her from ICMDA.

She has also won prizes in a competition called ‘Kalavedi’ held by Sangraha Cultural Trust.

Experience

She has been a part of various Natya Nadagams produced by Sri Shankara Naatyalaya.

She has played lead roles as Anjaneya in Ramayanam, Venkatakavi in Venkatakaviyum Venuganamum, Meera in Kannan yen Kanthan, Devi Kanyakumari in Nithya Kanni. She has also performed at various Natyanjali events organized at Perur, Mayavaram, Vazhuvur, Trichy, Hosur and Bharathiya Vidhya Bhavan’s Dance festival Coimbatore.

She was also provided with an opportunity to perform some solo recitals as a part of Poorna Kala Utsav ’24 conducted by Prayathnam and in the 5th Margazhi Dance Festival conducted by Sakthi Sangeetha Sabha,Chennai.

Hari Kappiyoor:

Hari Agnisarman Kappiyoor is a Carnatic musician who has proven his talent in both Vocal and Veena music alike, across many years of experience. He is an AIR-Graded artist in both Vocal and Veena

Training

Currently, he is under the tutelage of Sangeet Natak Academy Awardee, Sangeetha Ratnakara, Kalaimamani Nagai Sri R Muralidharan and Palai Sri CK Ramachandran (the foremost disciple of Semmangudi Sri Srinivasa Iyer). Sri Vijay Ganesh is his laya aspect guru and mentor in Hari’s Carnatic music journey.

He was blessed to study under illustrious vidwans Trichy Sri J. Venkataraman, who specialized in Ragam Tanam Pallavi, and Trichy Dr. B Sivakumar on the Veena.
He received his initial training from Kalamandalam Sri Narayanan Embranthiri and Chandramana Sri Narayanan Namboothiri.

Experience:

Hari has marked his signature in performance across several decorated venues, including Shanmukhananda Sangeetha Sabha, Mumbai; Narada Gana Sabha, Chennai; Cleveland Tyagaraja Aradhana; and many more in both India and the USA.
